Hi, I’m Ricardo Marques, a staff platform engineer who has spent his career at high-pace startups, building the infrastructure that keeps them shipping.

Over the past decade I’ve worked in roles spanning System Administration, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Tech Leadership, and Platform Engineering. I specialize in scaling infrastructure platforms and building high-performing engineering teams.

I also build and ship my own products, and write about it here.

Outside of work, I’m driven by a variety of passions that keep me inspired and active. I enjoy photography, traveling to new places, immersing myself in electronic music, and working on fitness goals in the gym. Snowboarding is one of my favorite activities when the season comes around, adding an extra thrill to my year. 🏂
